"MiTAC chose Tvia's reference design and TrueView 5600 for our new 32" LCD-TV. We needed to get to market quickly and Tvia guaranteed that by using their turnkey Tvia LCD-TV reference design with TrueView 5600 digital display chip, that we could get to mass production within 45 days," said Jason Hsu, Manager, Product Marketing Center, MiTAC. "Tvia delivered on that promise. The Tvia TV Design Center in ShenZhen China, together with our engineering team delivered in less then 45 days a complete solution ready for mass production, all at no cost to MiTAC," said Mr. Hsu. "The outstanding image quality and flexibility of the TrueView 5600, combined with the Tvia turnkey LCD-TV design were the perfect choice for MiTAC. We were overwhelmed by the engineering support we received from Tvia's TV Design center making sure we made it to mass production on time, and with a world class product. Though Tvia has recently won many design wins with well-known LCD TV brands, we were treated as though MiTAC was the most important customer to Tvia. That type of support and service is rare in this day and age," said Mr. Hsu.
"We are very proud that MiTAC chose Tvia's LCD-TV reference design and TrueView 5600 digital display processor technology for their 32" LCD-TV. MiTAC and Tvia worked hard together to complete a new 32" LCD-TV design on time and in less that 45 days," said Eli Porat, CEO of Tvia, Inc. "In the LCD- TV market, it is no longer good enough to just have the best digital display processor, you must also provide the best support in the world allowing your customers to get to market quickly", said Mr. Porat.
